December Dunno about cutscene with Sera didn’t romance her but romance achievement is bugged and no matter who you romance it at least in some cases won’t trigger. If it makes any difference, I got the “Woman who wants for nothing” quest before talking to Blackwall. Then when talking to Blackwall he initiates his dialogue where he leaves right after — giving me no opportunity to finish Sera’s quest. Helpfully, “Woman who wants for nothing” then no longer shows Blackwall as a required talking point You have to get Blackwall back before you can finish Sera’s quest. At that point he’ll pop back up on her quest steps, you can talk to him again, and then finish Sera’s. Have the exact same issue, completed a woman who wants for nothing, have a human female warrior. Got to the cutscene in the room, she pushes you down, screen fades black, bam back in the tavern and no achievement

As others have said, it depends on how you view your character and what you want out of the relationship. I’m surprised that others haven’t mentioned race though, because that can impact the romance. Playing an Elf? Playing a Qunari? It’s one of my favorite romances. For a dwarf, I’ve seen a few dwarven Inquisitors get turned off by Sera openly laughing at them for being short when they first meet, while many enjoy the “ex-con bad girl falls for sweet sheltered good girl” dynamic of Mistress Cadash and Josephine.
It really does depend on what you want. If you don’t romance Sera, at least get enough approval with her to do the Pride Cookies cutscene. Totally worth it. I’d go so far as to say that that one cutscene is worth the entire Josie romance in trade. I don’t know about that.
Sera is a fictional character in BioWare ‘s Dragon Age franchise. The character made her debut in ‘s Dragon Age: Inquisition , where she serves as a party member. She is a member of a secret society called the Friends of Red Jenny, an enigmatic group of subversive vigilantes trying to undermine abusive nobles by engaging in espionage and social banditry.
Sera has received mixed commentary from critics; while some sources appreciated Sera for her irreverent personality or as a realistic portrayal of a LGBT character , other sources criticized the character’s abrasiveness and called her irritating. Sera is voiced by English actress Robyn Addison.

Some spoilers within. The complexities of the plot; the branching story lines; the moral dilemmas; the constant juggle of companion priorities; the combat; the explore content. I realised recently that my approach to Mass Effect and Dragon Age romances is very similar to how I go about it in real life: I have some pre-conceived notions of who I might like to do kisses with, and I sort of tailor myself my character, my lifestyle to enable that. But then I flirt wildly with absolutely everyone, and fall head over heels in love with the first person who takes the bait.
I apologise to my long string of exes, but there it is. I identified this pattern in my life some few months ago, which allowed me to hit a new record of not getting into disastrous relationships, but the mirroring of my Dragon Age experience only occurred to me when starting Inquisition recently. With this in mind, I went off and really researched the romance options available this time around. If love blooms on the battlefield, then so be it — but I refuse to let it bloom with someone completely inappropriate just because they have a cute smile and a can-do attitude.
The first companion you recruit, Cassandra is a perfect tank who can also be developed into an excellent damage dealer or controller. She takes a compliment with modesty.
Act like it! Not wanting to hurt her feelings, I avoided reaching out to other Jews, synagogue, etc. I also needed a lot of Aspergers socialization lessons and social groups. Sera is a city elf raised by humans who claims she was mistreated by other elves.
It looks like nobody has posted a video of this Sera Romance conversation yet, so here is the audio! Because I love this conversation. I’m glad I.
If anything, she was preparing to defend her relationship with Sera yet again. Taam looked down at the mark in question, and let it drop to the balcony railing, as Solas continued. Changed you in any way? Your mind, your morals, your… spirit? You are not what I expected. But you have shown a subtlety in your actions. Taam did not reciprocate the grin. She stood up straight again and crossed her arms, looking down at the little man intensely.
Most people are small… petty. But not you. Before my savage ferocity throws you off it. He truly did not seem to understand how horrible what he just said was. What part of that do you call a compliment, Solas?
The weight of the world may be on your shoulders, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find love along the way. Dragon Age: Inquisition has multiple romance options available, some specific to certain genders and races. You don’t have to romance someone, since you might not find someone you want to cozy up with, and that’s perfectly fine. However, for those who want to take the romantic plunge, we are giving you some insight into each character to help you make the decision.
After all, it takes time and effort to woo these characters, so it’s best to make the decision as early as possible. If you want to romance someone, your best bet is to do their personal side quests and choose the heart option whenever you see it appear in conversation.
Sera. Let’s look at a more lighthearted sex scene in Dragon Age. I tried to romance Sera in my game as a male Inquisitor.
One aspect less advertised – but just as important to seasoned BioWare fans – was the studio’s approach to more personal relationships; particularly of the romantic variety. And with Inquisition , the developers outdid themselves. With characters more complicated than ever before seen , taking a variety of appearances and arcs over the course of the game’s lengthy campaign, some advice will come in handy. The writers have gone out of their way to make the heart of every Follower available to the player – even if their romantic interests lie elsewhere – meaning those characters may not state just what kind of relationships are likely in the long run.
So, allow us to take care of it. It isn’t just Followers that can be romanced in Inquisition , but the Inquisitor’s advisors as well a possible conflict of interest, we’ll admit. The former Templar Cullen Rutherford is one such example, overseeing the military forces and planning of the player’s army – when not being awkwardly drawn into more romantic conversation by either a human or elf female.
Since it’s Cullen’s business to know what the player is up to, a romance is only possible if the player is not engaged in any other romance. It’s clear from the outset that Cullen’s morals aren’t really in question – no matter how heated the conflict between Mages and Templars has become – but it will take plenty of time before he drops his guard. One more tip: don’t discuss ingesting Lyrium, and you’re good to go. If Cullen is a devoted soldier, then Blackwall makes him look like a rent-a-cop.
When word of a Grey Warden in the Hinterlands first arrives, seeking out the source of the rumors will lead the player straight to the Warrior – and bring up memories of Dragon Age: Origins ‘ Duncan almost immediately. Given the isolation of his life, a flirty female Inquisitor will convince Blackwall to join the cause rather quickly, though his inexperience with women becomes clear before long.
My Problem is with the quest a Woman who wants for nothing: I’ve gotten to this quest, talked to everyone about gift ideas, but after Sera throws me.
There are spies around every corner, templars and mages fighting to the death, and dark, heinous creatures ready to kill you slowly with the Blight that brings you inches closer to madness while you tear off your own skin. Will your favorite partner hold up? You can choose to save face and end the romance there, or proclaim your intent to continue the relationship.
His romance starts sad, is sad throughout the middle, and will hopefully have a happy end- right? The romance, like any other, has to start with flirting. As soon as you arrive at Skyhold, Blackwall will reject your advances if you flirt with him.
